I guess, for us, this sign would literally be the street sign indicating an intersection on Memory lane–and bring back some memories it does! You’ll have to suffer me a little here in the beginning…I’ll explain: Launching this adventure has been a long train coming to put it mildly. I’ve always wanted to open a real estate brokerage but have never been able to find a peace about it. I was never able to land the idea fully, or rather never able to harness HOW I wanted to do it. Meeting Jack Emerick and spending time with my brother it began to occur to me that the idea was already there. The work had already been done. The image for the company was already established. 30A isn’t just a housing market. It is a lifestyle. That is why people want to come here. That is why I stay here. Jack and my brother pointed out to me that what we didn’t need to SELL anything…that we needed to simply make sure people know how incredible things are here. That would be to say, DO WHAT WE LOVE! Which just happens to be talk about and engage in the lifestyle that is 30A. In order to tell this story it was first considered that we’d tell some of the back story…to tell some of what we know about having been raised here. Which leads me to why I asked you ‘to suffer me’ here in beginning. What I meant by that is that digging into our personal history here in South Walton has been a nearly lethal dose of nostalgia!!! So many memories, so many friends, so many experiences in paradise. To recount life here has been a very emotional experience. To have lived it is a blessing. Having said all that…suffer me if I get a tad sentimental or focus on Sowal history a bit heavily. I promise I’ll grow out out of it 😉
Sincerely,
Bobby
