The real estate agent you’re interviewing will be happy to tell you about his or her training and background – and how it relates to helping you sell your home quickly and at the right price.

#2. How much experience do you have?

Some real estate agents have a natural talent for selling homes – and they can sell them right out of real estate school. However, nothing beats experience when you’re working with a Realtor®. You want to work with an agent who’s working at an established real estate company with a sterling reputation.

#3. How much do you think my home is worth?

Your real estate agent will do a comparative market analysis to figure out how much your home is likely to sell for on today’s market. He or she will compare your house to others in the same area that are similar in size, style and amenities – those that have sold, those that haven’t sold, and those that are currently on the market – to figure out how much yours is worth. The bottom line is that your home is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay for it.

You need to know that the Realtor you’re thinking about hiring has a solid marketing strategy – otherwise, you can’t be sure that he or she will be able to get your home out there in front of interested buyers. A good marketing strategy includes plenty of online advertising!
