If the root cause of the infestation hasn’t been treated, you need to make sure the current owner addresses it before you buy.

Some types of termites can cause permanent, irreparable damage – but that’s not always the case. Most termite infestations can be adequately treated by a pest control company – but you’ll want to find that out before you agree to buy the home.
